The database includes digital images of collection objects. Currently there are over 7,000 images available (...)"

The Free Online Scholarship Movement

It's not only an anthropological issue, but worth mentioning anyway. There is a Weblog for this movement, shortly FOS, that reports everything about this topic. What's their goal? "Putting peer-reviewed scientific and scholarly literature on the internet and making it available to readers free of charge. Removing the barriers to serious research."

Voodoo a Legitimate Religion

National Geographic comes with an article claiming that voodoo is a legitimate religion. My comment: In case this is really a new insight, the question is, whether it's really the assigned task of anthropology to judge about the legitimation of religions.
