Bruce Sterling (he is writing his Weblog at Wired) is visiting the LMU Munich on the 13.12. He will give a lecture about Shaping Things to Come: The computer revolution is invading the physical world of material objects. A number of trends are converging which will re-define the relationship between people and our tools and possessions.
