That's right, I was watching the news on tv while the corean farmer kill himself, a terrible tragedy, it was shown 2 or 3 days on tv after the media hadn't had news about it, did it really worth it? ... Link

If it was worth it? I don't know. I doubt it. Actually I think that all violent action by globalisation "contras" is useless (and bad in some way). We all see what is happening by these means (now in Cancún, earlier in Italy). On the other side I see that unfortunately their words are not given much notice, so they are looking for ways to draw attention ... and violence or tragedys as seen do draw the attention by media, politicians, etc. I just don't understand why they still cannot put themselves at one big table and discuss - really discuss - the problems. But I know that I am looking through a "pink goggle" here and that sometimes I might as well be too idealistic in this unidealistic world... Cheers for responding, Artec ! ... Link ... Comment

Gipfel der Heuchelei - WTO Conference
Today Alexander Hagelüken of the Süddeutsche Zeitung published his opinion about Cancun's WTO Conference and general globalization problems. I couldn't have written and expressed it better myself... I believe worth reading!
