The Flaherty Film Seminar has announced that the 2008 Seminar will take place at Colgate University, Hamilton, NY from June 21 - 27, 2008.

Besides using the locations of the Colgate University, Flaherty Seminar organizers will also be working with John Knecht and Lynn Schwarzer, who are Professors of Art & Art History and Film & Media Studies at Colgate.

Chi-hui Yang, among many other things director and programmer of the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF), a presentation of the Center for Asian American Media, will curate the 54th annual Robert Flaherty Film Seminar. Yang has served on funding panels for Creative Capital, Rockefeller Foundation, ITVS and the San Francisco Arts Commission. He holds a BA in Political Science/International Relations from Stanford University.
