Dept. of Publications, kerleone, May 10, 2005 at 2:44:33 PM CEST Rare Books from Patagonia Duncan Campbell, already running two fine websites about Patagonia (Patbrit and Patfotos) started a new one: At Patlibros he published full scans of some rare books about patagonia and tierra del fuego. Some of them are a great source for historical information about the indians of tierra del fuego. I am really happy to see that he recently added The Gold Diggings of Cape Horn from John R. Spears (1895) as excellent online-edition, a rare book not available in germany. And there's even more interesting stuff, as for example an account of Ernest Shackleton in Punta Arenas printed in the Magellan Times in 1916. ... Comment |
The finest stuff from ethnology social/cultural anthropology and cyberanthropology. Collected with ceaseless endeavour by students and staff of the Institut für Ethnologie in München/Germany and countless others.
