Only two weeks ago, the world leaders of Ethnographic Praxis in Industry (and 5 germans including me) went to a Conference in Copenhagen called EPIC. It was a great conference with lots of community and interesting folks wandering around. For anyone interested in doing ethnographic work outside of academia somewhere in the industry, the draft proceedings of the conference are now available for download on their website (pdf). Of the articles, Dori Tunstalls presentation is worth a look as is the Keynote by Christina Garsten about transparency. You can also read blogposts about EPIC by Simon Roberts of Intel or Artemis .
