Today (14. October 2003) at 18:00h Bayern2Radio airs a 30-minute special by our doctoral candidate Bettina Weitz which is called "Research by all senses: Methods of cultural science". In Munich you can receive Bayern2Radio on UKW 89,5 MHz. The special is broadcasted via the internet, too. At the webpage you can also find all other terrestrial frequencies. In cooperation with the Department of Sociology of Freiburg University (Germany) the "Institut für Grenzgebiete der Psychologie und Psychohygiene e.V." stages an interdisciplinary conference called Der maximal Fremde (The maximum other/alien) which will take place on 4., 5., and 6. Since recently the "Museum der Weltkulturen" (museum of worldcultures) in Frankfurt am Main, Germany publishes an online ethnological newspaper called Journal-Ethnologie, which is written in German. It is planned that new issues are published on a regular basis. The goal of the newspaper is to bring ethnological knowledge in an understandable format to the "non-ethnologically-educated".
