BBC.co.uk shows some interesting pictures of advertisements with black people. They illustrate the ongoing change of it's image in the industrial world. Unfortunately only very few examples - but this would be a great idea for a detailed study! The pictures are from the Black Cultural Archive and Museum in Brixton/London.

The last Science Science Magazine (2002 298 - only accessible for subscribers and some universities) has a long special issue about ancient cultures and archaeology in Afghanistan. It's also about the current situation of science in afghanistan.

Today at the german TV broadcaster ARD (23.30): "AIDS - Tödlicher Angriff auf Afrikas Seele". A documentation about AIDS in Afrika. Among other things the report want's to show, that also the traditions of ethnic groups are responsible for the disease.
